Motorola A920 review

Sunday 27 March 2005, 5:55 PM

Stay away

Bought two a920s, one for me and one for my girlfriend. Both phones broke, sent them for repairs on multiple times and they are still broken. Had to complain repeatedly to indians in their call center who can't do anything. Eventually called the department of fair trading and consumer affairs to get what i paid for.. A phone that WORKS. Eventually got a new one which work sort of but still has problems. Looking at buying a new phone and going to flush both phones down the toliet -> where they belong.

Verdict

The A920 is a clever 3G phone full of promise. But it's also bulky and heavy, has poor battery life and doesn’t yet deliver enough compelling services.

Typical price

£ 399

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
