Sony Ericsson T610 review Editors Choice Award

Saturday 27 September 2003, 7:08 PM

Redefining

This phone is the replacement for the T68i, and I look at both phones next to each other and am amazed as to how far technology has come on in a mere year. Although the T610 menus etc. are heavily based on the T68i's, they are much clearer, more customisable and much more responsive. The camera is great in most light conditions, with night modes and adjustable shutter speed and saturation. Call quality is great, the ringtones are good -- although they could be a little louder for use on buses etc.

However, this is a remarkable phone, and it's difficult to believe that this is cheaper than some clamshells with tiny screens. The T610 has a clear screen -- OK, outdoors it's a little difficult, but apart from that, this is a quality phone. Some people may not like it, but this phone oozes class and style.
