If it worked, it'd be great

I purchased one of the earlier Bluetooth packs -- mouse only scrolls up and down. The mouse has to be physically HIT or a button needs to be clicked to wake it up... and if you click, when it wakes it dutifully sends the click to the application... which is usually NOT what you want.

Like some other reviewers, the keyboard kept getting lost, and it generally took a good 30 minutes to get it working again... wonderful use of my time.

I went out and bought the Logitech diNovo... works perfectly every time, only problem is keyboard not usable until first logon completed -- every time you boot! Thank goodness I use it with a laptop.

Verdict

Despite some installation glitches and evidence of keyboard driver instability, the Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth is a pleasure to use. Cable clutter is reduced and mobility significantly improved. It’s well worth considering as a replacement for a conventional keyboard and mouse combination, but does not yet provide reliable interoperability with other Bluetooth devices.
