absolute waste of money

I bought it for £150 and this is the biggest waste of money I ever had. You have to take your laptop with it always if you are planning to scan a newspaper article on the go, because this thing doesn't have an inbuilt memory. I can't believe they produce a 'portable scanner' without an inbuilt memory!! what a lack of common sense. I myself was mislead by this claim. And it stopped working after scanning three lines, says' bulk reading error'. That's it, no more instructions what to do now. I removed it and reinserted it, nothing happens. It is dead. My verdict: donate the money to charity, don't give to the geniuses at IRIS.

Verdict

The IRISPen Executive 6 has limited functionality compared to a regular desktop scanner (or even a sheetfed scanner); but what it does do, it does very well.
