Negatives do not scan well, I found no area where I could turn on 48-bit scanning, and I found the advertised dpi of 1200 was more like 600. It'll work for slides when you have low expectations. I like the look but I regret my purchase. Luckily it was cheap :)

7.8If you're not after a stylish scanner and you need to save some cash, HP's Scanjet 3670 is a good choice.
