HP Scanjet 3670 review

Nowhere near as good as I read

This is a terrible scanner. It takes a while for the lamp to warm up and it's slow. The driver is full of good features that are flawed. It has a hue adjuster that is useless (why not copy the huemap in PaintShop Pro?), a profile loader that reverts back to the default profile when the driver is closed, and a preview magnifier that clumsily requires a new scan just to look more closely in; if you try to cancel a full scan, it will go back and start the full scan again. Scans are soft, even at 'sharp' setting. A scan of dark green comes out almost black, deep green and cyan produces blue. Hopeless.
