E-TEN M600 review

Monday 13 February 2006, 9:17 AM

All you need is already in there.

Bought this on New Year's day and have been impressed with its stability, functionalities, and ease of use. My Treo 650 offers me one-handed SMS and web navigation, which the M600, being a Windows product, doesn't but other than that, I have found it excellent in all respects. I particularly love the support among the users and from the Company itself, unlike other competitors whom I'd rather not mention. For example, the Company has come out with not one but two ROM updates, which solved many users' problems within days of the problem being aired on the user forum. Can you say, SERVICE?

Verdict

The E-TEN M600 adds Windows Mobile 5.0 and Wi-Fi to quad-band GSM/GPRS and Bluetooth to deliver a compact and well-specified connected handheld. However, it's a shame that infrared is missing.

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
