Lacking better camera

A device with such a rich feature set should incorporate a better camera module(at least 2 megapixels) for other business professionals who may need to send decent quality on-the-go pictures. HTC & Microsoft seem to have done their part, but who is responsible for enhancing the software functionality? Check Samsung's i750 Pocket PC which can do everything the Exec can do bar video conferencing, and they tweak the OS and add functionality to it that doesn't come as standard, but gives the user a better degree of control over the device!

Additionally, screen real estate could have been better implemented, giving the customer a better VGA experience. Also a decent graphics accelerator such as the one used in the Axim X50 would have captured another market of consumers and given Exec customers the reassurance that the next big thing in technology isnt just around the corner.

Otherwise, It's a well specced machine -- it just doesn't seem to offer much more than say, the Xda IIi or 's' series, let alone products from other manufacturers. Nonetheless, the form factor, VGA screen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G with Windows Mobile 5.0 is still appealing, so I'll be buying it once it's released.

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
