T-Mobile MDA Compact review

Tuesday 13 June 2006, 1:36 PM

Fails to deliver

It has all the features that I wanted, problem is they don't work.

Connects to Bluetooth Car kit great, Just can't answer a call without having to get the phone out of my pocket. Can't initiate a call from the car kit either. When you do get a call the caller hears a delayed echo so it is very difficult to have a conversation.

If they could get the software to work it would be great but as it is its VERY Frustrating.

Verdict

We like T-Mobile's MDA Compact as much as we liked the similar i-mate JAM. The only drawbacks -- of both devices -- are limited memory and lack of built-in Wi-Fi.

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
