Fujitsu Siemens Pocket LOOX 720 review Editors Choice Award

Great Pocket PC, but not durable

This Pocket PC is the best I've ever used. I briefly owned a Dell Axim x50v before the Pocket Loox 720 and returned it because it only had 64MB of RAM.

The extra RAM in the Pocket Loox 720 makes a big difference and I don't notice the slightly slower processor. Also has much better battery life. My big complaint with this Pocket PC is that the screen is a bit soft and more fragile that other Pocket PCs I've had. I have broken the screen on my Loox 720 twice. Now granted, both times were my fault and the screen didn't just spontaneously break, but before going to the VGA Pocket PC's I had an HP 2215 for a year and a half and although that unit got bunged up a bit, the screen never broke.

Do I recommend the unit? Definately, but just be carefull with it, buy a protective case, and I'd also recommend insuring it (I use Safeware, at www.safeware.com).
