HP iPAQ Pocket PC hx4700 review

Sunday 20 November 2005, 8:03 AM

I've owned two other iPaqs this is best by far

The clarity of the screen on the hx4700 is truly a quantum change in quality over previous iPaqs I have owned. The WiFi is superb for internet browsing; I can lay in bed on a Sunday morning checking out the weather for kitesurfing - if it's rubbish I turn over and go back to sleep.

Slight niggles: flip cover too springy; touchpad tricky to use; I wouldn't advise using the HP security feature without making careful notes - you may never get back in again.

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
