Good intentions but when unit breaks there is non-existent support

The company in Plymouth does not appear to exist. I have been trying to get this unit repaired now for months. Service is non-existant and apparently the fault - a malfunctioning bottom connector is a very common problem. I could probably do the repair myself but they won't release the parts, even. Acer are an absolutely useless company to deal with. they are happy to sell units but after-sales is appalling which means that I will not be recommending future use of ANY Acer product.

Verdict

Acer's n30 Pocket PC is compact and lightweight, and includes Bluetooth, but it could do with integrated Wi-Fi and a swappable battery.

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
