Toshiba Pocket PC e800 Wi-Fi review

After 18 months !

I have had an e800 for 18 months. Generally it has never been remotely reliable. I have lost count of the times I have needed to re-set it. It froze, shut down or lost data between once and twice a week. On average I only used it about four times a week, for about 15 minutes a session. Recently It failed completely and the cost of repair, a whopping £341.88! In other words a throw away write off. Toshiba couldn’t care less and in a brief letter admitted internal components often fail but, as the warranty had expired, they declined to assist.

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
