Eten P700 review

Wednesday 30 March 2005, 1:06 PM

Very buggy. Nothing works continuously. Network reception very poor.

1. I have been using P700 for 6 months now and i need to soft reset atleast 5 times a day and hard reset once a week.
2. Battery life is quite poor and gives a maximum of 5 hrs of usage even with power saving features like reducing the CPU spped to 200MHZ etc.
3. The bluetooth headset just disconnect after 1 or 2 conversations and i have to switch off and switch on my headset for it to reconnect to the device.
4. There has been no revert even after several emails for support and asking them to send me the latest OS image.

Verdict

This handheld/phone combo provides tri-band GSM/GPRS communications, built-in Bluetooth and good expansion facilities. It's well worth considering if you don't mind carrying a bit of extra weight.

Nokia E63

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
