Mitac Mio 339 review

Monday 2 August 2004, 2:33 AM

Full spec 400 Mhz + extras at US$263 -- true value!

I was looking very hard at the Zire 72 and had already decided to buy. But then I saw the Mio 339. It's not just the camera, it's PocketPC. The thing that finally convinced me is the flash! Even many digicams out there don't have flash! No Bluetooth or Wi-Fi but that's OK. Not much service support in this region anyway for such tech.

Wow. I never thought I could get this kind of value at this price! And it's light! Lighter than the much more expensive iPaq. I am still amazed today. How come nobody else can come up with all these features at a decent quality at this price?

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
