O2 xda II review Editors Choice Award

Monday 26 January 2004, 5:37 PM

If you dreamt of a PDA, the xda II should be in a thought bubble above your head

I had the original xda and thought that was pretty good, anyway. I would look enviously though at those PDAs with better screen quality. The xda II addresses that, and adds nearly every feature you could want bar Wi-Fi -- and you will be able to add that yourself through the SDIO slot. Stability is much improved, and my favourite feature is being able to sync Outlook via Bluetooth to my always-on computer when I get home --but I'm sad like that.

Verdict

The xda II features a tri-band GSM/GPRS phone, a VGA-resolution digital camera and Bluetooth built in, along with 128MB of RAM, an SDIO-compatible card slot and an improved screen. This makes it one of the best handheld/mobile phone combos around.
