Sony CLIE PEG-UX50 review Editors Choice Award

Not value for money

I bought one of these in 2003 as a replacement for my Psion. How disappointed I was. While the hardware is up to the usual high Sony standard, I was seriously let down by the software. Even Sony's entry level devices come with Documents To Go but not the UX50. This means you have to fork out extra just to edit text or spreadsheet documents! There's not even any games included! Palm OS 5 is also clunky. I hated using the thing. These days I'm on an XDA Exec - and loving every minute of it!
