HP iPAQ H1940 review Editors Choice Award

Monday 6 October 2003, 11:21 AM

Reason I've gone over to Pocket PC

Finally a Pocket PC that can replace my Psion Revo+. I had an Phillips Velo running CE and had to get rid of it after 2 weeks because it kept crashing -- I vowed never to buy an MS-powered PDA again. That was 9 years ago. But, this device is slick and the size makes it irresistible not to carry all the time. It still crashes (>20 times in 3 weeks), but never as catastropically as the earlier CE machine where you'd loose everything.

The only gripe I've got is the poor battery life -- I'm getting ony 2 days' use out of a charge, whereas my Psion gave me up to 10 days. Well done HP.
