Great product for business users

This is a very good device. I bought mine in Luxembourg and it does come with the Euro symbol on the French keyboard. For business users who need to use it as a tool and not as a gadget, the class 10 GPRS, the great battery life and the tiny keyboard are an asset. It comes with a good array of bundled software, including Versamail which can be programmed to download email automatically at regular intervals.
It is clearly a mobile network, data-centered product, and that's precisely what I need. I have a data-only, flat-fee unlimited traffic SIM in there, and for voice calls I keep using my mobile. Pity it has not been pushed enough and at the right time here in Europe -- it is indeed a great product to use in GSM-only networks.

Verdict

Palm's handheld/mobile phone combo is generally well designed, but there are a few deficiencies that prevent it from being an outright winner.
