Acer s60 review

Monday 1 November 2004, 4:51 AM

Excellent handheld for the price

Haven't had a problem with this little ripper of a device. I got it cheap, and bought a Sony MemStick to boot overseas which has essentially given me a MP3 player as well.

Recently my support CD was stolen, and I had to wangle with Acer for them to send me a new one for free (they wanted $40 for it), and my only complaint is that none of the software is available on Acer's website.

Apart from that, I get everything I need out of this, Palm functionality, without the Palm pricetag!

Verdict

Acer's Palm OS handheld eschews leading-edge technology, and its Memory Stick slot may not suit everyone, but the design is attractive and the price competitive.

Nokia E63

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
