Ideal laptop substitute for students on a tight budget


As a student, most of what you do is word processing anyway -- be it your class notes, thesis, or whatever. And you won't get through a lecture or two with laptop battery life and you could burn your lap. Dana has made my life much easier this year.

Verdict

Although it's primarily aimed at schools, the Palm OS-based Dana may also appeal to regular mobile users who require a lightweight and affordable portable computer and don't need the full functionality of a Windows notebook.
