NavMan GPS 3400 Voice review

Tuesday 15 March 2005, 2:39 PM

All in all, a great product.

I've been using this model since summer of 2003 when I took a car trip to Austria. It responded very well and the journey was a breeze without the need for maps.
Since then, I've taken it with me to trips, holidays etc, within UK.

The only glitch I've noticed since is, on a couple of occasions, when I took wrong turns on at a roundabout on major motorway, it kept me going round the loop and ending up on the same spot. However, it cured itself when I finally soft reset the iPAQ.

Verdict

If you own an iPAQ and you want to know where you are and where you’re going, this upgraded GPS navigation solution -- which supports voice instructions, dynamic routing and street-level mapping -- is well worth considering.
