Sony CLIE PEG-NR70V review

Tuesday 9 September 2003, 11:09 PM

A simply fantastic PDA

This stylish looking pda offers more than just its impressive looks. The built in camera, large colour screen and bundled software are just for starters. The built in memory stick slot gives an excellent option for expanding the memory, as well as easily transfering data between Vaio's and Sony Digital cameras. Another stunning feature is the playback of MP3 files, which sound quite clear through the built in speaker. No matter what you plan to use your pda for, this will do it! But in spite of that, Sony didn't stop there, the jog dial on the side makes navigation easier than ever, and although a little on the small side, a keyboard has been included. Even the screen roatates, so you can choose to use it whatever way you prefer. To top it off that traditional Sony finsh has been added to the case, making it strong and durable, while still keeping its good looks.

Verdict

This feature-rich device puts a whole new spin on what you can do with a Palm OS handheld, but it also carries a pretty steep price tag.
