Lovely if it works

Thsi is the most unreliable piece of kit I have ever seen. The Compaq does not reliably switch off, so you often lose the programme; 99% of the time it cannot find a satellite. If you're lucky it will work only to drop out a few miles from your intended location. Purchase a dedicated machine, not this piece of unreliable junk.

Verdict

Although cheaper satellite navigation systems are available, Compaq's handheld-based solution has much to recommend it.
