The BlackBerry Storm is a revolution for RIM in more ways than one. It will be exclusive to Vodafone for its entire life, and it features a revolutionary touch-screen technology.

The touch-screen is the headline grabber. The 3.25in. screen offers 480 by 360 pixels and dominates the front of the device. It sports RIM's SurePress technology, which includes a layer that can be depressed by 1.5mm. Press gently on an icon, a menu option, an on-screen keyboard or a web link, and the desired action takes place.

We spent half an hour with the Storm and while there's definitely a learning curve to negotiate, it shouldn't take most users too long to master the system.
