Apple Power Mac G5 dual 2.5GHz review

Sunday 28 November 2004, 9:07 PM

I got a lemon

From the get-go, G5 fan kept causing crashes, locking up, losing data. Finally after 6 months of the same complaint, I bought a replacement but then they wouldn't refund me for the original that they had agreed was messed up.

Replacement works fine but I wish I hadn't bought due to how I was treated and given the runaround.

Finally they agreed again to refund. Waiting to see if they credit my account or not.

Good luck solving even legitimate problems with them.

Creative pros and power users will salivate over the speed and the design of Apple's top-of-the-line Power Mac G5, but we wish it offered more expansion and better support.
