Dell Dimension 8250 (3.06GHz P4) review Editors Choice Award

Friday 25 August 2006, 1:29 AM

Great deal when purchased back in the day!

Bought my 2.52GHz Pentium 4 in 2002 and haven't had any problems...ever. I don't overclock or do any crazy stuff but do game alot and use the PC constantly for net surfing and office tasks. The RDRAM and AGP mo-bo is a pain nowadays but if you don't buy upgrades through Dell it's alot cheaper-though still pricey. Just upgraded to 410W PwrSpply, 7800GS GPU, and put in 1G RDRAM over the years. Still works great. Should definately last another 12 months till I can afford a new one. Excellent value.
