Panasonic Toughbook CF-52 review
Review The Toughbook CF-52 is a solidly built 'semi-ruggedised' notebook, with a hardened outer casing, shock-mounted hard disk and covered ports. However, this 3.3kg system isn't the most portable of notebooks and its battery life falls a long way short of Panasonic's claims.

i-mate Ultimate 9502 review
Review The Ultimate 9502's video-out feature may attract those who need to project handheld content onto a larger screen. However, it's not overly pocket-friendly and battery life leaves a little to be desired.

Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP review
Review The 24in. Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP delivers across the board in performance, design and features. It's not only an excellent choice as an entertainment display, but is also great for everyday Windows tasks.

Panasonic Toughbook Executive CF-T7 review
Review The 'business ruggedized' CF-T7 could easily pass as a standard notebook, but the extra-strong chassis, shock-mounted hard drive and spill-resistant keyboard should all help to cushion it from the rigours of life on the road.

Itronix GoBook MR-1 review
Review Small of format and impressively rugged of build, the GoBook MR-1 can withstand a lot of abuse in the field. Unfortunately, your wallet will also have to take some punishment if you choose to buy it.

Samsung SGH-i640V review
Review With 3G but no Wi-Fi, the SGH-i640V will not have universal appeal. The defining features of this Windows Mobile smartphone (its rotating navigation wheel, touch buttons, large size and idiosyncratic user interface) will also polarise opinion.

AMD Phenom X4 9850 review
Review AMD's new Phenom X4 9850 is overpriced and outclassed compared to its Intel-based quad-core competition. If PC vendors can use this chip to make cheap systems (as they did with older Phenoms), we might have nicer things to say; but as a DIY part at this price, we can't recommend AMD's latest quad-core CPU.

HP Scanjet N8460 review
Review The Scanjet N8640 is fast and flexible enough to handle a variety of documents and comes with a very capable software bundle. However, the system as a whole would benefit from a usability makeover.

Apple AirPort Express Base Station (802.11n) review
Review Don't pick up a new, 802.11n-enabled AirPort Express if you're looking for superfast wireless networking performance. You should consider it, however, if you're in the market for a new Wi-Fi router that offers portability, ease of use and the unique ability to stream iTunes over your network.

O2 Xda Orbit review
Review The Xda Orbit 2 combines a strong set of features with good battery life. The HTC TouchFLO system may not suit everyone, but if you disapprove, you can simply ignore it.

NComputing L230 review
Review NComputing's L230 thin client is an option if you need to add a group of low-impact users to an existing Ethernet LAN. However, you'll need to ensure that the host PC is adequately specified to deliver acceptable performance to the terminals attached to it.

Sony VPL-FE40 review
Review The VPL-FE40 is an ideal projector for showcasing presentations, video and images in medium- to large-sized meeting rooms and auditoriums. The only downside is the cost, both to purchase and run, which will limit the VPL-FE40 to large organisations with big budgets.

Bookeen Cybook Gen3 review
Review Compact, lightweight and usable, the Cybook Gen3 is currently the best e-book reader on the UK market. It could, however, still benefit from a few tweaks.
