Christmas Competition 2006

Win an Orange SPV M600 with Sat Nav

[CLOSED]

The Orange SPV M600 is a Windows Mobile 5.0 handheld incorporating a quad-band GSM phone with GPRS and EDGE support. Although the M600 is a Pocket PC device with a 240-by-320-pixel screen, it is compact (108mm by 58mm by 18mm) and lightweight (148g).

Bluetooth (1.2), Wi-Fi (802.11b) and infrared are all built in, along with a 2-megapixel digital camera, making this an extremely well-connected and functional device. The processor powering all this functionality is Texas Instruments’ OMAP 850 running at 195MHz, with around 42MB of available on-board storage and an SD/MMC card slot for expansion.

For mobile professionals whose businesses have Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP2 or later installed at the back end, the inclusion of the Windows Mobile 5.0 Messaging and Security Feature Pack will allow push email to be delivered to the SPV M600 with minimal reconfiguration.

Sat Nav from Orange uses the M600's GPRS connectivity for downloading your journey routes. No maps are stored on the mobile device which means the maps are always up to date.

Once each route has been downloaded, Sat Nav from Orange works with the Bluetooth GPS receiver to provide you with real-time, turn-by-turn navigation, even in the most built-up areas.

In terms of coverage, you get full mapping for the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands.
