Surf and glide
Microsoft is aiming to make Web searches more dynamic. One handy navigation feature within Windows Live beta is the vertical slider bar, which enables you to glide through a slew of search results without clicking from page to page. When we slid this bar down to the 249th search result out of more than 3 million, Windows Live beta paused for several minutes to retrieve more data. A smaller horizontal bar lets you choose how much detail you want to read about your finds.
