It's a new year, and therefore time for ZDNet to dust off its crystal ball and fill you in on what to look out for in the coming months. Besides the traditional David and Goliath battles in the CPU and GPU worlds, 2004 looks particularly interesting because both of the underdogs, AMD and ATI, have started out looking stronger. And with hotter competition, we can expect more and better choices to come.
