What do ZDNet UK's editors want for Christmas?
Published: 22 Dec 2003

Technology journalists are fortunate enough to get to play with a wide variety of digital products in their line of work. But it's something of a double-edged sword: become too attached to a gadget that's on test, and the pain of parting with it is almost unbearable when, inevitably, the supplier asks for it back. Then it's time to think the unthinkable in our business -- actually pay real money for a technology product!
But wait, there's a present-laden seasonal celebration just around the corner...
So, as Christmas comes around once more, let's ask ZDNet UK's crack squad of editors what has impressed them most during 2003, and therefore what they'd like to see making a bulge in the festive stocking.
As before, we've divided our editors’ Yuletide wish-lists into two parts: a relatively affordable 'realistic' choice, and a cost-no-object 'fantasy' option. Have a look at what we’re coveting, and then let us know what you're hoping to receive this year.
